The Jehangir Art Gallery is more than just a prominent venue for art exhibits. It is situated in South Mumbai and has been closely linked to the rise of contemporary Indian art and so is Mr Yash Birla. He has been a lover of art since ages. He believes that art can be found in everything and it should always be appreciated in its truest form. For this prime reason, he has always been closely associated with Jehangir Art Gallery and they invited Yash Birla as the Guest of Honour for the inauguration of Photo exhibition along with Kenyan High Commissioner Willy Bett.
Exhibitions by painters, sculptors, printmakers, artisans, ceramicists, photographers, and weavers are held at the Jehangir Art Gallery. It frequently hosts engaging lecture series, leads workshops, and facilitates debates on many forms of art, putting an emphasis on education for both academically oriented people and laypeople.
At the Jehangir Art Gallery, Mukul Wasnik, a Rajya Sabha MP and AICC General Secretary, debuted a solo exhibition of 75 of his wildlife images on Friday. Wasnik frequently travelled from Tadoba to Tanzania during the past six years in order to hunt large cats as well as an abundance of birds. Among other dignitaries Yash Birla as the Guest of Honour for the inauguration of Photo exhibition was also present. His profound love for art and photography made him more than thrilled to be a part of the exhibition. He said that the pictures were magnificent and showed the dedication of Mr Wasnik towards his passion.
