The unveiling of the logo took place in the presence of artists who have flourished in Maharashtra’s arts and culture scene.
2500 years ago, the Delphic Games were born as the twin sister to the Olympic Games in Greece. The event was held for the achievement of art and culture across the globe. Maharashtra participated in three editions of the Delphic Games in various countries and won gold and silver medals in South Korea and Malaysia.
The Delphic Games are a unique, global platform for the dialogue of arts and the encounter of cultures. The International Delphic Council, which is based in Berlin, organizes them every four years around the world. So far, they have visited eight countries. Six major categories, including Musical Arts & Sounds, Performing Arts, Language Arts, Visual Arts, Social Arts, and Ecological Arts & Architecture are represented with hundreds of subcategories and genres and offer a platform for artists across art forms, art lovers, and various stakeholders.
Maharashtra has a rich heritage of art and culture. Delphic Movement and the State Council of Delphic Maharashtra provide a prestigious platform to further preserve and promote this heritage.
I have attended such type of events a lot, but the way this event was organized was awesome. I saw Birla House for the very first time, and it was humongous. The house was so massive, i have never seen a superb house like this. Mr. Yash Birla hosted everyone very well. He is a very noble man.
